This Standard specifies the requirements for metal cable trays and associated fittings designed for use in accordance with the rules of the Canadian Electrical Code (CEC), Part I, and the National Electrical Code (NEC). It is the first joint effort of NEMA and CSA International to put in one place standards for metal trays per both NEMA and CSA methods. If I have more than 6 cables, am I to use Table 5C which imposes rather heavy deratings suddenly. While NOM and NEC are essentially the same document with a translation between Spanish and English, the CEC is a different animal.
