The announcement was made during a press conference at GO's Head Office, attended by Minister for the Economy, Enterprise and Strategic Projects, Hon.

Malta fiber optic cable landed

Malta has cemented its status as a digital frontrunner, with telecoms provider GO plc announcing the completion of its nationwide fibre rollout – a transformative €100 million project that now brings ultra-fast internet to 371,000 homes across Malta and Gozo. Now, all the submairne optical fiber cables landing in Malta are connecting to Sicily, Italia and onward to the rest of the world. Nexans has reached a major milestone in the Malta–Sicily Second Interconnector project, with production now well underway at two of its state-of-the-art facilities in Norway and the United States. The announcement was made during a press conference at GO's Head Office, attended by Minister for the Economy, Enterprise and Strategic Projects, Hon.

Fiber optic patch cord MT-FA

It widely used in Precision optical laser, and optical module for 40G,100G QSFP. ApplicationsWhether you are upgrading to 40G QSFP+ or deploying a 100G backbone, our MT-based assemblies deliver the low insertion loss and high return loss required for mission-critical fiber optic links. Utilizes precision-molded MT ferrules for superior physical contact and signal alignment. Our portfolio includes single-channel, multi-channel, wavelength multiplexing, and coupling solutions, ideal for high-speed transceivers, TOSA/ROSA, and silicon. An MPO patch cord can support not only 8-core and 12-core, but breakout cable even 72-core or more fiber connections, which can meet the high-density transmission requirements of 40G and 100G fiber optic networks in data centers. HYC's MT-FA（42°/8°） uses 42°total reflection FA as the RX receiving end to directly couple with the PD Array to complete the optical-to-optical conversion of the optical path; use the small size and multiple channels of the MT ferrule to realize the parallel transmission of multiple optical.

The function of liquid fiber optic sensors

These sensors rely on the principles of light reflection and refraction to detect changes in the liquid level. With their exceptional temperature resistance and superior performance, they have become an indispensable tool for many applications. A fiber-optic sensor is a sensor that uses optical fiber either as the sensing element ("intrinsic sensors"), or as a means of relaying signals from a remote sensor to the electronics that process the signals ("extrinsic sensors"). Due to its small size, low cost and ease of fabrication leading it to replace traditional sensors which were used frequently before th birth of fiber optic sensors. Further there are many points why fiber optic sensors are used in place of traditional size and. Radiation absorption creates electronic excited states that are trapped by localized defects for extended periods of time. In this work, a novel optical fiber sensor capable of measuring both the liquid level and its refractive index is designed, manufactured and demonstrated through simulations and experimentally.
