Is it okay to touch the low-voltage busbar
Touching a live busbar without standing on a rubber insulating mat or wearing rubber insulating gloves can result in immediate electrocution. A busbar is simply a conductor that carries high voltage and current, so touching it has the same effect as touching any live conductor. This standard defines the design verification, test requirements, and thermal performance of the assemblies. There old electricians and careless electricians, but damn few old, careless electricians. Not every design needs large bus bars; some only need smaller, localized ones or PC board-mounted bus bars.
